Mrs. Spears was born in Cusco, Peru, where she spent her early years surrounded by the rich culture and traditions of the Andes. Later, she moved to Billings, Montana, where she quickly grew to love the natural beauty of the surrounding areas. Passionate about hiking, fitness, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, she finds inspiration in the outdoors and strives to bring that same energy into her work with children.
Her first language is Spanish, and she learned English as her second language, studying at the Catholic University in Lima, Peru. Her journey in education began when she joined Grace Montessori Academy as a Teacher Assistant. Through dedication and a deepening love for the Montessori philosophy, she soon became a Co-Teacher. Driven by her desire to better serve her students and fully embrace the Montessori approach, she decided to pursue certification. After two years of rigorous study and commitment, she proudly earned her Montessori certification at AIM.
Mrs. Spears believes that every child deserves a teacher who is fully prepared to guide them through the beautiful journey of learning. With passion, perseverance, and a strong foundation in Montessori philosophy, she is committed to nurturing her students’ growth and independence.
