Early Childhood (Ages 3–6)

Where Independence Begins
and Faith Takes Root

At Grace Montessori Academy, our Early Childhood program (ages 3–6) lays the foundation for a lifetime of joyful learning, strong character, and spiritual growth. In these formative years, children are naturally eager to explore, move, create, and connect. Our Christ-centered Montessori environment gives them the freedom and guidance to do just that — in a classroom filled with peace, purpose, and wonder.

The Montessori Difference

At Grace Montessori, our Early Childhood classrooms are intentionally designed to support the unique needs of young learners — offering a peaceful, purposeful space where children can explore, grow, and thrive.

Here’s what makes our Montessori approach distinct:

Every material, shelf, and space is thoughtfully arranged to invite independence, concentration, and discovery. Children are free to move, choose their work, and engage deeply with hands-on learning.

Children ages 3 to 6 learn together in one community. Older students model leadership and kindness, while younger ones are inspired and supported — creating a natural cycle of mentorship and collaboration.

Our Montessori-trained educators observe each child closely, offering individualized lessons at just the right moment. They serve as gentle guides, helping students build confidence and mastery at their own pace.

Children choose their work based on interest and readiness — within a carefully prepared framework. This nurtures intrinsic motivation, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning.

“Children thrive when given the space to explore, the structure to succeed, and the guidance to grow.”

What Your Child
Will Walk Away With

While every child develops at their own pace, our Early Childhood program is intentionally designed to provide the guidance, tools, and environment that support growth in these key areas:

“We create the conditions for growth — and trust that each child will blossom in their own time, in their own beautiful way.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! They need to be 3 or close to 3 and using the toilet independently.  Our program is designed to meet young children where they are. Children do not need prior academic experience — just curiosity and readiness for a structured environment.

We emphasize grace, courtesy, and natural consequences. Children are guided to resolve conflicts peacefully and build empathy and responsibility.

Faith is woven into every part of the day — through Bible stories, prayer, scripture memory, and the way we treat one another.
