Barton Tutor
I have been in education for over twenty-five years, and I look forward to my new role as a reading interventionist at Grace Montessori Academy. I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and a Master of Education in Reading. My professional experience includes serving as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, instructional improvement specialist at schools in Montana and Washington, and as an adjunct instructor and lecturer in Literacy Foundations at Montana State University-Billings. Throughout my career in education, I have found my greatest joy in guiding students along their learning journeys and helping them reach their full potential.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy life with my family, which includes my husband, four children and their spouses, and four beautiful grandchildren. Some of my favorite activities to do include practicing yoga, going on long walks, and antiquing whenever I can.
